Made to feel very welcome from Geraldine and Joe. Enjoyable breakfast with plenty more on offer. Spotless room,comfortable beds. Only there for one night and wished it could have been longer

I was drawn to the Baytree by the two fairy lit christmas trees in the attic windows; on a rainy day in very low season it was a welcome sign. I was the only guest for the one night I stayed and felt like the place was my own home. Very much appreciated the complimentary sherry in the room and the roaring fire in the guest lounge as well as the reasonable rate, friendly welcome and hearty breakfast the next morning.

I hope to maybe return in the Summer when it might be better weather for exploring Kirkcudbright and the surrounding area from beyond the window of my car!

We spent a very comfortable night at Baytree House on the recommendation of our friends, who were also staying there. A warm welcome from Geraldine, Joe and the two dogs and a delicious breakfast the next morning. Within easy walking distance of all the town's main attractions with convenient street parking.

I rocked up at Geraldine & Joe's home unannounced and was lucky enough to find a lovely room, at a very sensible price and was overwhelmed by their warmth and hospitality. They couldn't have been more welcoming and attentive. Lovely room, with a "welcome sherry", spotless bathroom, comfortable bed and an extensive DVD collection to borrow from! Breakfast was excellent - and an extensive range of food was on offer. A perfect place for a really relaxing stay - thanks Joe & Geraldine (and thanks too for letting me "overstay my welcome" by a couple of hours in the living room to use your wifi!). Advice as to best local restaurant was absolutely spot on - and the food there was first rate ... well worth this 5 star review!
