My partner and I stopped at the Days Inn on our way back home. Accompanying us was our small toy breed puppy which we had just purchased. Checking in was extremely disappointing. The room was foul smelling (heavily scented with something to TRY to mask the smell of dog) and covered in animal hair. An obviously pet designated room. It was apparent that a hoover wasn't used in between visits. Bathroom was relatively clean, minus the floor. Sofa bed was dirty and had a heavy duty durable fabric on it- something I wasn't going to sit on, let alone my puppy. Terrible sleep, woke up congested. A tip- walk over to Starbucks in the morning, as you won't be able to access the services when leaving the car park.

Me and a small party stayed here for 2 nights, the hotel was perfect and absolutely spotless, the lady manager Andrea helped us to find a place to eat and sort our wedding reception out too.
All in all a VERY FRIENDLY and PLEASENT place to stay.

Just what we expected a perfectly adequate room with a comfy bed.
Perfect for a nights sleep before continuing north
Largish bedroom with a double bed and a double sofa bed.
Teamaking facilities adequate and TV ( remote did not work but we just used the panel on TV) was good enough
The bathroom was OK but let down by some discoloured tiles and black mould marks on the ceiling.
Lovely soft towels but marred by having a soap dispenser in the shower (a personal hate) a bar of soap would have been preferable!
The hotel was perfectly clean and was very quiet and away from the service area.
The restaurant on the service area was quite expensive but there is a KFC and a Burger King so we ate there. There is a large W H Smiths and Scottish gift shop also on site so you are well catered for.They are all within a very short distance of the hotel
Good value for £39 in that area.

If you want a decent cheapish breakfast I can recommend the cafe at the Gretna Outlet Village

Comfortable bed, decent price, only complaint was a bit of mold on the bath room ceiling.

Staff were friendly and very helpful!
