We stayed here for 2 nights for our wedding, this B&B is fantastic and the owners couldn't do enough for us to make our stay truely enjoyable, the rooms are spotlessly clean and tidy and the breakfasts were a perfect way to start the day. We would definately stay here again, maybe for our anniversaries in the future. The Anvil View is definately worthy of a 5 star+ rating.

I really don't understand the FEW bad reviews if this guest house. Just returned after a nights stay and found the welcome, stay and breakfast to be wonderful. Our room was spotless with ensuite facilities, a great, quiet nights sleep, the owners were friendly and extremely helpful (allowing us to check in early due to the time of the wedding we were attending) and breakfast was divine with a great range to choose from, all prepared freshly and with large portions. Coffee was red hot and great for the long trip home. A stones throw from the blacksmiths too! Absolutely faultless :)

We stayed here a couple of weeks ago, the rooms, house hosts and breakfast was all fantastic. We booked here after reading everyones reviews and was not disapointed, would highly recommend the Anvil Guest House to people. Nothing is too much - excellent!!!!
