“We wouldn't stay anywhere else in the borders”

We've been visiting Bill and Heather at irregular intervals for over ten years now. Their welcome is genuinely warm and their thoughtfulness enhances every stay with them.
The breakfasts see me through the day and the dinners are legendary and can be accompanied by whatever wine(s) you choose to bring with you. We most often visit during the autumn when the log fires enhance the warm and friendly atmosphere. The location is stunning, set above the Tweed crossing from St Boswell's and the morning dog walk down to Wallace's statue offers atmospheric views across the Eildon Hills by Melrose.

“Great place to stay”

It was our second stay at Clinton Lodge our first over a year ago. Our memories had not let us down, the room was spacious, towels fluffy, views spectacular and hospitality faultless. We were welcomed with tea and home made scones, breakfast was a feast and 5 courses at dinner felt like we were being given the royal treatment, but no! Our experience was just what's on offer in this beautiful B &B the perfect place to stay in the Borders.

This was our second stay at Clint Lodge and we were not disappointed. The room was large with a very large and comfortable bed, situated at the front of the house with magnificent views.
There was an en suite bathroom (disappointing shower)
with plenty of toiletries, towels and a dressing gown each.Although we were the only couple staying that night the breakfast was superb in quality and quantity.
If ever needing accomodation in his area again would stay here again without doubt.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the front

“"We loved it and we'll be back"”

This was a beautiful B and B. The location is stunning with lovely views. The rooms are spacious and the beds are extremely comfortable. The bathroom was luxurious. We had a delicious evening meal which included potatoes and raspberries from the garden. We had coffee and tablet in the conservatory. The house is wonderful. For breakfast we chose porridge and kippers. Dryburgh Abbey is lovely and the River Tweed in the sunshine is beautiful. I would throughly recommend Clint Lodge.

Room Tip: Very nicely appointed rooms, comfortable and spacious.

A surprise trip for my birthday. We had never been before and we loved it, the hosts were so attentive and the house is just beautiful, we didnt want to leave, the comfy beds, huge breakfasts and great views from the conservatory mean we will be back for Easter 2012! Thank you Bill and Heather next time we will stay for more nights.
