“Peaceful break in the beautiful Borders”

What a beautiful hotel in a tranquil setting with stunning views over the River Teviot.
Extremely warm welcome and very comfortable rooms with every facility you can think of. Enormous beds and perfect decor. Food was wonderful, everything fresh and well presented. Typical Scottish dishes available too. Must try the Glenteviot breakfast and the Glenteviot Mist dessert - wow! The town of Hawick is within 3 miles (home of Pringle knitwear and other cashmere houses) plenty of walks nearby.
Can thoroughly recommend this place . Enjoy the peace, comfort and food.

Have just had 6 nights at the absolutley delightful Glenteviot Park Hotel. A small private country Hotel. Superb rooms, excellant food, wonderful views. A great place to stay. The hostess is brilliant and nothing is to much trouble. Good central location with lots of places to visit within easy reach. 10 out of 10. Look forward to returning.

“Simply Superb”

At Glenteviot Park Country House Hotel we received a very warm welcome from owner Gill. Our room was supremely comfortable and the attention to detail is second to none. The food was superb (even for my somewhat fussy husband!), the standard of service excellent and the views stunning. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and can't wait to return. Definitely one of our favourite places to date. A real haven of peace and tranquillity for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Ideal for a romantic get-away or a busy walking/cycling break. Thoroughly recommended. 5*.

Glenteviot Park Hotel, a privately run country house hotel is set in a 5-acre estate of mature woodland and rolling parkland. The hotel overlooks the River Teviot with a backdrop of hills in the distance and is the perfect place to unwind for a few days break, whether engaging in sporting activities or sightseeing in this historical and engaging Region of 'true' Scotland'. Guests experience unobtrusive yet high quality genuine service and are provided with the ultimate in unrivalled comfort and excellent cuisine. A teriffic experience and we will feel the glow until our return to Glenteviot Park - hopefully not too long in the future.
