“Beautiful Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 October 2008

My wife & I have just returned from a weekend at Glenteviot Park Hotel. We were met by the owner Gill in the grounds as we pulled up outside and she showed us to our room which was 'The Tweed,' a beautiful room with a view accross the gardens & the river. The rest of our stay was wonderful to say the least. The hotel is so clean it is unbelievable. The bar lounge is on the ground floor overlooking the gardens where we sat on one of the burgandy chesterfields whilst we decided from the dinner menu, which changed daily. The food wes delicious the service excellent ,what more can I say except that the breakfast was equally as good.An excellent hotel in a beautiful setting, perfect for a relaxing weekend.

“Fabulous Glenteviot”

My husband and I stayed for four nights at this wonderful little hotel. Everything was top drawer from the moment we arrived and parked at our designated parking space with a 'welcome' notice (it is these little touches that set Glenteviot apart from the run of the mill establishments). Gill and Moira did everything to make our stay as perfect as possible, wonderful food and wonderful hospitality. Location is superb and there is so much to do in the area that we are certain to return. A great place to unwind and be spoilt!!!!!! We were sorry to leave and in fact the next place we stayed at, although on the surface good, did not match up to our Glenteviot experience. You must try the Glenteviot Mist desert!!!!!!

“relaxing time in the borders.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 March 2008

my wife and I have just returned from a short 2 night break in the glenteviot park hotel celebrating my 40th birthday.
the host gill greeted us with a friendly smile and showed us to our room which turned out to be the tweed , a beautiful suite overlooking the pleasant garden.
everything in the hotel is spotless and gill was an excellent hostess. the bar area very relaxing for a wee dram after a very nice hearty 5 course dinner.
overall we had a very pleasant stay and would return to this unique family run hotel in the borders,

“Peaceful break in the beautiful Borders”

What a beautiful hotel in a tranquil setting with stunning views over the River Teviot.
Extremely warm welcome and very comfortable rooms with every facility you can think of. Enormous beds and perfect decor. Food was wonderful, everything fresh and well presented. Typical Scottish dishes available too. Must try the Glenteviot breakfast and the Glenteviot Mist dessert - wow! The town of Hawick is within 3 miles (home of Pringle knitwear and other cashmere houses) plenty of walks nearby.
Can thoroughly recommend this place . Enjoy the peace, comfort and food.
