We had booked a family room, but we were set in a basement, with nice windows to a garden, well furnished, but somehow cold and out of date, especially the bathroom. It had an opnened door which connected with the house basement (This made us fell somehow unsafe). Access by car is narrow, but well indicated. Breakfast was good, as in other B&B.

This B&B provides basic accomodation and an OK breakfast. You could walk to town, but it's down a steep hill on a busy road. The driveway is on a blind curve and getting in and out with a car is kinda dicey. Oban really doesn't have much to offer, I think I'd skip the whole town.

Was surprised by some of the negative reviews here, we stayed here for one night and found it to be good value.

Our room was well appointed, although the walls were a little thin so you can hear people coming and going. The hallways smell a bit 'doggy' but the room was fine. Strangely, the toilet seat was chipped and scratched, which let the room down a bit because the rest was very nice. Breakfast was very generous, so no problems there.

The property is right on the edge of Oban, towards the top of a hill; not a problem if you've got a car, but might be if you're lugging bags from the town center.

We arrived looking forward to our stay. We paid £101 for a family suite.
The B&B looked great on the web and we arrived expecting habitable accommodation.
Instead we were greeted with an almighty stench in the property.
We were staying in the family suite, The bedrooms were actually nicely presented but the hall in the property has been subject to a flood in the past and believe me it reeks.
Upon arrival we went out and bought air freshner but soon realised thet that would do nothing.
The children were coughing and we were all retching when ever we moved between rooms.
We spent a very sleepless night and left before 7am without breakfast.

This seriously spoilt the start of our holiday, The owner admitted there had been a flood but was not helpful and just walked away when questioned on it.
