as a host sandy makes you feel as if you are he's main guest and takes time out to explain the history and area of west Scotland the rooms are comfortable and large but my personal favourite of the trip was the breakfast a great choice and made with pride

Alt na Craig is a professional luxurious B&B that didn't disappoint. Our room had great views over the bay and the house itself was only a 10 minute walk into the town. Breakfast was superb, a great choice on the menu and cooked to perfection. Having a very fussy other half, he was very impressed with the service and experience and the food! Many thanks!!

We spent 4 days here on our second visit and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Beautiful house and very friendly owners and staff. The house is designed for comfort and gracious living!


Our room Lismore was beautfiul with views over the harbour and the gardens. The breakfast is immense!!! We are already looking forward to our next visit.

I could have stayed mcuh longer than the two nights we had allocated. Alt na craig was the nicest B&B during our 8 days in Scotland. The house sits on a hill above the Oban overlooking the Harbor. Great views. The room we were in was spectacular Beds were super comfy and the ensuite was modern and lovely. There is a slight 50 yard hill if walking from the main road but easily traversed. We only met Sandy and his breakfast staff who were attentive and created any breakfast you desired. I can't think of a single improvement. The House was a little more expensive than most 5 star but easily worth it.

Have to agree with those, like us , followed our sat/nav to the wrong Glenmore Road. Must happen often as the folks we asked at the original destination were well aware in directing us.
