Though we stayed for only one night the B&B was very comfortable and clean. This was out 4th B&B on this trip and the second that was run more like a hotel than a true B&B. There really wasn't a common area to gather and talk with one another at night and though the hostess and host were nice we didn't see much of them as like the others we had stayed at. The location was great very close to walk into town. A lovely little town. I would recommend staying here and I think we would stay again. The rooms were clean and the full Scottish breakfast was yummy!

Excellent choice of breakfast including smoked salmon and scrambled eggs & fresh fruit selection which was delicious. Off street parking and close to supermarkets - Lidl,Aldi,Coop and Tesco.

Knowledgeable host - room a bit on the small side as is ensuite but very clean.

Hosts were polite and unobtrusive. Room was clean and tidy and our bed was made everyday for us. Room had a TV with terrestrial channels. Owners had assembled a useful book of local restaurants and attractions which was really helpful. Had a lovely stay. The only down side is it's about a 15 minute walk from the train station and ferry which is a bit of a way but considering the price we thought it was worth it.

My husband and I have just returned from a 2 week vacation touring Scotland to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary and I can honestly say that this was the best accomodation we had in our entire trip.

We stayed for 2 nights and the rooms were spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfortable.

Not only was the breakfast first class but we also were given a choice (being of Scots descent, my husband had the porridge on both days!!)

I would thoroughly recommend this guest house and we are already planning a trip back to bonnie Scotland with our eldest daughter and son-in-law next year.
