Blarcreen House is a bautiful old farm house surrounded by Loch and green. We only met Steve and he was a lovely host. He helped us to choose our activities more wisely and our say was a lovely experience. This property fully deserves it's rating and we felt it offered excellent value for the location and ambience. We stayed 2 nghts and used it as a base to explore the western highlands.

A couple of brummys Eileeen and Brian We found this fantastic B&B 5 years ago, and have been every year since.Shelley and Steve have become great friends.What can we add to the reviews that you read thay are so true.Shelley and Steve will give you the most friendly wecome,nothing is to much trouble.The house is in a wonderful location so peaceful all you can hear are the sheep and lambs in the field, our four poster bedded room was immaculate exceptionally clean,with Sky flatsreen TV and DVD player the beds are extemly comforable,bathroom have lovely big fluffy towels and toiletries.Shelley is a wonderful cook and her homemade bread is a lovely touch to the breakfast. There are so many little details and touches that will make your stay unforgettable.We could go on forever about Shelley and Steve you will go a long way to find such a special couple, and as for the house if you don't stay any where else in Scotland stay here you won't regret it and you will be back.

This is really a lovely bed and breakfast with a great deal of ambiance. It is about a 30 minute drive from Oban, but it is an easy trip and well worth it. The rooms are impeccably clean and spacious, with nice touches like a private refrigerator in the room and a large DVD collection available to borrow from. Steve and Shelly are very friendly and hospitable. They obviously take a great deal of pride in their home, as well they should. We wish we could have stayed longer!

The three hosts all reminded us all repeatedly during our two-night stay of their insistence that we 1) vacate the building during times when they building is closed, 2) return from being out of the building before a certain time, and 3) leave after our second night before a certain time.
