Nice location in a walking distance to the city center at the sea. Cosy old fashioned atmosphere. We had a pleasant stay with good sleep. The breakfast was delicious and more than enough and had to be ordered the previous night. Free parking although sometimes a little organising required.

We have just spent a few nights at the Corriemar, loved the room overlooking the bay and the decor of the room was very nice not your usual bland hotel room, it also had lots of wee curios that gave it a homely touch the 'boss' was off on holiday so hubby was promoted to 'head cook and bottle washer' and did a sterling job, the breakfasts we had were excellent (remember to choose it night before). The only slight downside was that the room was a wee bit cold on the first day but once the heating was on for a while it was ok, being a big high ceilinged room it took a while to heat up.
If you want something interesting and different to the travelodge experience then try here. We would certainly book it again when visiting Oban

We all had a fantastic stay in corriemar. Enjoyed the stunning sea view rooms, which I would highly recommend. The place is full of little, unneccesary collections, which I and especially our baby liked big time. Breakfast was great if you pick the right choice the evening before. Our first haggis - and we liked it! Sandra is maybe not hospitality in person, but we were prepared after some postings here and took it with humor. don´t expect long email-answers. Stuff was very helpful and facilities for the baby were in place (e.g. high chair).
Overall a very good experience, and if a bit cheaper I´d say excellent!

Had a lovely stay at the corriemar just returned home after a 5 night stay used the guesthouse while visiting the islands. Owners were very easy going and apporoachable also very helpful to any questions we had. Stayed in one of the front rooms with a beautiful sea view. Great choice for breakfast in the morning. Very reasonable priced to be honest would of payed more. Highly recommend it and will definetly be going back.
