We really enjoyed our 5 nights stay in the Old Manse Guest House a lot. Perfect for families. The family suite had two separated rooms and a rather small but nice en-suite bathroom. Wonderful view from the breakfast room. Very special cooked breakfast. The kids loved the pancakes! Only a short walk to the town centre. Very nice hosts who make you feel welcome.

had an excellent stay at the old manse guest house.we are a young couple and had a fantastic stay in oban and the old manse quest house made our stay even better.the owners made us feel very welcome and would definitely return.

would come back to the old manse without hesitation,made to feel very wellcome and pleased with accommadation with a lovely view over the bay from the room we were given. Having travelled up on the overnight sleeper from London to Fort William on our way to the Outer Hebrides we found that our onward sailing to Lochboisdale was cancelled due to bad weather, so had to spend the night in Oban.
Having had a quick look on Tripadvisor we simply turned up at the door at 1pm and asked if they had a twin room. We were welcomed with open arms, given the family suite which has two bedrooms and were allowed to check in immediately. What a relief and what great service.
We explained that we were getting the ferry at 6am the next morning and the owners knocked some money off the price as we wouldn't be having breakfast. When we came back to the B&B later in the day they had made us a packed breakfast for the next morning. Just excellent!
The owners understand that it is the little things in life that make your day special and it turned an unexpected delay into a pleasant stay.
