Stayed there for two nights in the large 2nd floor room overlooking the water. Great Views, but the bed could use a new matress and the bath needs a shower enclosure or at the least, a soap dish in the tub.

My wife and I visited Oban for our wedding anniversary in September and stayed at Kilchrenan House. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome. Colin was a wonderful host, the rooms were clean and ours had magnificent views across the bay. Breakfasts were great too (try the pancakes if they have them). We stayed 5 nights in total and if we ever return to Oban it will be to stay at Kilchrenan House.

We are a family of 4 (2 young children) and have recently stayed a this B&B for a week. It was our first time in Scotland and we had a fabulous time. Accomodation is always important and we were delighted with Kilchrenan House. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff superb.They treated the kids to cakes on a daily basis.Oban is a great base to explore the coast of Scotland.

My lazy son and I stopped at this B&B for one night. It was easy to find and greta to look at. I was guided by the Lonely Planet Guide and chose the recommended room overlooking the estuary.
I disliked the bath in the room but that is just me being pedantic. The quality of the furnishings was excellent and the view across the estuary was so superb, I set up my camera and tripod to get some dusk shots as ferries passed in front of me.
The room was one of the best I stayed in during the trip.
The breakfast was served hot, on a hot plate and was very yummy.
The lady who greeted us upon arrivel was very friendly and made a good impression.
Overall, I was very pleased with the stay.
Cost wise, it was more expensive than others we stayed at but I believe we got what we paid for.
