Just back from 2 nights at this hotel and we absolutely loved it. Rooms were good, view was fantastic and staff were excellent. The food was amazing and we would return to this hotel just for this alone. Loved it and would recommend it to anyone. The pool and outdoor hot-tub were brilliant. A great getaway for a couples looking for a romantic break away.

Have just returned from a 3 night stay at this FABULOUS hotel!!! We had an amazing time! The location is beautiful, the rooms spacious and immaculate and the food is out of this world!!! Nothing is too much trouble for the helpful and friendly staff (a special mention must go to Paul!) and we had such a fantastic time that we are already planning our return. We can honestly say this is the NICEST hotel we have ever stayed in!

We had a groupon deal, which included dinner and a bottle of wine.

We have stayed at this hotel before a few times over the years and also The George Hotel (lovely cosey bar and any time we've been there's been live music on a Saturday night).

Inveraray is beautiful and we love it there, even when the weather isn't that great, lovely views over the loch from the front of the hotel.

Our meal was fantastic and a nice bottle of wine too. We had a lovely swim/sauna which was really nice and relaxing. The set menu with the groupon deal was lovely although we fancied a nice steak so paid the supplement for that (£14.75 each). One small criticism was chips, we'd have preferred to have potatoes rather than chips (but that's just a personal preference and not really an issue).

Staff were all lovely and friendly, always nice when people are nice.

The only criticism we had was that the room was a wee bit tired and we figured that becase we had a deal we maybe got an older room which is fair enough.

Put simply, fabulous meal, lovely staff, relaxing stay.....we wished we had another night instead of just the 1!

Had a couple of very pleasant days here, view of the loch is lovely, crerar gardens nearby def. worth a visit..the food in the hotel is fresh and very nice, and the hotel staff were friendly and nice, if you want a couple of quiet days with a nice spa and swimming pool this is it.
