The Haven is a great home from home. Rooms are comfortable. Fortified by the good breakfast you have there, you can set off to explore this bonny town and its delightful surroundings. If you have any interest at all in wildlife, the Montrose Basin Centre Visitor Centre is well worth calling in on. If you go in the autumn you will have the soul stirring experience of seeing and hearing flocks of wild geese coming in to roost in the evening.

I've stayed at this Bed and Breakfast a few times now and would strongly recommend it. Terri, who runs it, is a very friendly, relaxed host, and goes out of her way to help her guests and make them feel at home. The rooms are really smart and clean and the breakfast excellent. The location's good, too, as the B&B is close to Montrose town centre and the railway station.

The Haven is a warm, very comfortable bed and breakfast, quiet, and clean, close to absolutely everything, secure and private. Parking a van was not a problem at any time across the road.

Terri, the owner, is a genuine and sincere proprietor who goes that 'extra mile' to make the stay memorable. The food was excellent, with fresh muesli, cafetiere coffee, fruit juices and wholemeal toast and a cooked breakfast at any point, if requested.

The Haven supports recycling,and has a honest professional, homely feel which is an incredibly difficult balance to reach in a B and B.The Haven has this special quality 'fine tuned'. I would go back at any point gratefully and for long stays if needed.

I stayed at The Haven a few days ago and it was excellent. Terry was helpful and very friendly. The room was comfortable, warm and spacious. If your looking for a B+B in the Montrose area you would be hard pushed to find a better place to stay. it's worthy of more than 3* trust me. :)
