“We'll be back”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 July 2011

Very well equipped, clean, peaceful, Best nights sleep we've ever had away from home. Louise and Graham were extremely friendly and welcomed us like old friends, it was wonderful not to feel like intruders in thier home and my husband says the breakfast was wonderful and I may get the sack.

great B & B to visit while traveling around the Scottish countryside. It's in a quiet location but is close enough to visit several well known castles. very kind hosts and very welcoming accomodations. we would highly recommend it!!!!

“Our favorite B&B in Scotland”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 September 2010

We stayed 3 night in the Newton Farmhouse and it was't our first visit. We love the quiet location. It's near to many interesting places like, Glamis Castle, Perth, Dunnotar Castle etc. But the best is the fantastic friendly service (Thank you Nicolle for the B&B in Lanark), comfortable rooms and the superb breakfast.
If we're the next time in Scotland, we're sure that we're visit the Newton Farmhouse.
We're don't find a better Place in Scotland.

We wish the Newton Farmhouse all times the best.

“the best and most welcoming B&B i have ever stayed in!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 August 2010

from the moment we were greeted by louise at the door,it was very evident that this was an extremely well kept home, with an exceptional host.
myself and a friend(both from england) only stayed 1 night as we were moving around scotland for the august 2010 bank holiday, but from the beginning, louise was extremely helpful and informative on local knowledge etc... and had a plethora of information readily available to any guests , within their rooms and in the hallway too.
marking out of 10, i would have to give louise and this wonderful B&B a big 9.
the only reason i have given a rating of 9 and not 10 was because of the location.
unfortunately there are no shops or attractions that are within walking distance, but trust me when i say that, you will have to go a very long way to find a better place to stay or a nicer host.
if you ever decide to stay in scotland , look no further than this B&B.
in 3 days we travelled a few hundred miles, but once we had stayed there, i wished we had made that our place of stay and just travelled around each day before returning.

Thanks again louise and the best of wishes to you in the future.
