We just stopped to stay for the night but at once decided to break our roundtrip in Scotland for several days in this very cosy old manor. Margaret and Milroy make you feel at home. There is a wonderful garden with free view on the see.

Lovely guest house with fab breakfast. Margaret goes out of her way to make you feel very welcome and Milroy has great knowledge of the best local golf courses. Brilliant quiet location easy to get around from here and fantastic views We will be back.

The location is wonderful and the house is lovely.
A big garden with lot of flowers, view on the sea...romantic room, perfect breakfast.
The owner let you feel like at home. Very helpful in giving us information on golf courses, italian restaurant (she was able to find a restaurant open and book for us even if it was very late).
During my 10 days trip in scotland this has been the best place I've slept...for sure.

In May 2006 our family was traveling from St. Andrews to Carnoustie and were fortunate to come upon The Old Manor B&B. This is a truly elegant old manor house that has been lovingly restored, and the hosts, Margaret and Milroy Coates, were absolutely wonderful. We were treated like part of their family, being invited into the sitting room to watch a movie with them and given a tour of the entire home. The rooms are generous in size, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Each room is named after a castle and there are magazines in the rooms with information about the area. The next morning we had a delicious breakfast in the beautiful dining room with a view of the sea. I cannot say enough about the setting, the home and the hosts. It is located across from the old parish church in Panbride - just on the outskirts of Carnoustie. Their website is [--]. We highly recommend a stay at The Old Manor.
