Stayed here for one night last week and had an awful meal upstairs in the "diner" as they call it. Greasy food, average service but the worst thing was the nights (lack of sleep) I had. The room was dark, all brown carpet and dark wallpaper. I was put into a room next to some kind of generator which I was not aware of until 11pm and it went on and on all night, they did offer to move me at 11.30. Why did they give me the room when there were clearly others available which were not next to a load of noise, they could not answer that. Finally went down to complain and reluctantly pay at 7am and was advised there was no one to take my complaint until 8am and was advised to go for breakfast which I did and which looked disgusting.I did not stay for the breakfast experience. I was offered no reduction in the room rate and the man behind the reception reluctantly apologised. What a horrible experience never to be repeated - I would rather sleep in my car !!
