My family and I ate in the Italian restaurant last night. I have eaten there a few times before in 2011 and found the food okay. Last night a number of people at our table found their food very bland. It included pasta with no flavour, deep fried risotto with no taste, and disappointing pork belly.
Hopefully this was just a one off bad experience, or an new chef or something. I will return to Luigis at some point but I won't be in a hurry!

We stayed there for the night last week and arrived after 11pm but nothing was a problem for the staff.

The room was on the 3rd floor and has velux windows which gives the room character. It is tastely and freshly decorated. The room itself was spotless and the bathroom had a lovely big shower.

The breakfast had a super selection of items and I can recommend the porridge!

As a priority customer we were allowed late check out - but there was a slight mix up with this which was rectified and not a problem.

We will certainly be back and look forward to going back!

Ate at Luigis and was VERY disappointed. Service was very slow & food not that great. Was on a reduced menu prior to new menu being launched. Wasn't busy but still managed to mess up my order serving me goats cheese (which I detest) instead of mozzarella. Main course was meant to be Arriabiata but was pretty tasteless. No spice & could taste lemon oil!!! Yuk!!! Had to ask couple of times before I got the wine I ordered. Didn't stay for dessert!!!! We live locally but doubt well be back. Very expensive for what u get.

This was our first year of having Christmas dinner out and we were quite unsure about it, but believe me we had nothing to worry about. From the minute we entered the doors of the hotel we were greeted with a warm welcome. We were quite a large party of 16 age range 9 mths to
65 years. Everyone enjoyed themselves food was beautiful, decor amazing, staff were excellent and friendly. Some of our family stayed over in the hotel rooms are first class. And of course not forgetting the visit from Santa. Would recommend this hotel to everyone 10/10.
