“Comfortable Stop over.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012 via mobile

Use Prem inns a lot for business so know what and what not to expect.
Rooms very comfy and clean, staff very attentive and ready to assist if required. The location of this particular hotel is fine for a stop over but would not like to spend a week here. Probably due to location albeit maybe different in the summer.
The restaraunt next door is large and welcoming.the night I arrived it was 10% full(don't know why I was asked to book a table). As I was on a meal deal, I found the choice very limited, but what I did get was cooked and presented well enough.Again the staff were very attentive so no complaints there. The ambiance was very low key with background music pretty much to my liking.(like a bit of indie) It was only the free WiFi which kept me in the bar, apart from that nothing much doing.Again I was on business so no real complaints.

“Cheap enough but the worst nights sleep”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012 via mobile

Average price for a room.

Terrible beds and pillows.

Hotel requires modernisation.

Our room was not the cleanest.

“Wish the hotel itself was as welcoming as the staff”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

On one of the coldest nights of the year, I entered my room to find the heating wasn't working.
I asked if I could change rooms but as the hotel was supposedly full, I was given a couple of portable heaters (not pat tested) and had to wait in the bar for nearly an hour for the room to warm up enough to shower.
On the second night of my stay I did manage to get a different room but as in the first room, the windows did not fit properly and the high winds were actually moving the curtains inside.
In fairness, I did get the cost of the room for the first night charged back to my company but that's only because I knew about the good night guarantee and utilised it for the first time.
Evening meal and breakfast were up to the usual reasonable standard for Premier and the staff I met were all friendly and helpful, as always north of the border.

“Wouldn't know what service is if it hit them in the face”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 December 2011

Stayed in the hotel for a week, room had mushrooms in the bath and sink, the service from the staff in the resturant was shocking, waited 35 minutes for our starter which was cold, main course wasnt cooked right, when i asked if they had sky sports they told me to go to another pub!

the Night porter Richard would roam the corridors at all hours making noise....freaked me out

“pleasant hotel - excellent restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 November 2011

the mill o mudurno is way better than you'd expect for a bar/restaurant attatched to a budget hotel. we visited a month ago and were quite taken aback at the high standards of food and excellent value for money. The staff seemed well trained and enthusiastic, and the ambience generated by subdued lighting and modern decor was very welcoming. We have been back three times since our first visit, and would have no hesitation in recommending this place to all our friends. Give it a try some lunch-time soon and take advantage of the meal-deal offers. - You'll have plenty cash left over to enjoy an extra beer or two!
