Our room in Stonehaven was at the top of the B&B so there were a lot of stairs to climb - kinda tough on the knees! But the view was worth the climb! Our room was roomy, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was really nice and big - which can be unusual for bathrooms in the UK. Most all I have been in have been clean and fine but tend to be on the small side - this one was very large! From our room we could see over most of the rooftops of the other houses all the way to the sea! It was really beautiful. The walk into town was only a few blocks. We also walked to the harbor where some of the nicer restaurants were located. It is a bit of a walk but worth it. The walk is along the beach and once you get to the harbor it is very picturesque. Breakfast was served in the sun room right off the art gallery room. The food was yummy and lots of it! All the toast and tea you could handle. You will enjoy your stay at Arduthie House.
