My wife and I stayed at Roselea for one night in July and found it an extremely pleasant stay. On arrival, our host discovered that I am descended from local families and volunteered that there is a genealogical research organization in the area that we could visit. Half an hour after showing us our comfortable standard double room, he knocked on our door and delivered a copy of the organization's pamphlet. The house and our room were clean, tidy, and thoughtfully maintained. As previous reviewers noted, the special touches such as the tea, biscuit, and hot cocoa selections in the room and the lovely rose-lined walkway in front of the house made us feel immediately at home. Breakfast was generous and tasty, and even includes a separate vegetarian menu--not common for B&B's.
The B&B is a 10-minute walk from the train/bus station and from much of what's to be done and seen downtown, and there are a number of restaurants on College Ave (including more than one high-quality Indian establishment) right down the road.
We would return readily, and recommend it to any one.
