“Excellent B & B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 December 2010

This is my second visit to the Cragganmore and what a lovely place. I stayed in the Basement Twin room and it has everything I needed for a very comfortable holiday. It feels like home from home and Elizabeth and Alistair made me feel very welcome. The breakfasts are fabulous and cooked to order (you fill in a form the night before). The B & B is spotlessly clean and very homely and welcoming. The TV in the room is great, it is within walking distance of the shopping centre, rail and coach stations which is very handy. I will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Craggonmore from 11-13 Dec. Our room was warm, comfortable and very clean with plenty of tea/coffee/biscuits on offer and the breakfasts were to die for! Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

“Excellent, homely B&B”

I had a lovely weekend stay with Elizabeth and Alister's in their lovely B&B. It is a short walk to the main street and new shopping centre at Union Square. Its also close to the Bus/Train station and Northlink Terminal. I had a double room on the 1st floor, the whole house was warm, clean and homely. There is a sink in the room with easy access to the toilet and shower room. Flat screen tv also in the room. The cooked breakfasts were lovely, and they had an excellent choice of cereals, juices, toast and all the marmaldes and jams you could eat. They catered for my gluten and dairy free requirements no bother at all. I'd definitely recommend this B&B.

“Excellent Scottish Hospitality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 July 2010

I was in Aberedeen on business for 4 nights and i had booked a single room with a double bed at Cragganmore Guest House. I do not normally use B&B accomodation usually favouring hotels however finding a hotel room in Aberdeen is not easy.
On arrival i was checked in by the hosts Alister and Elizabeth themselves and they made me feel very welcome showing me to my room fully equipped with Flat screen Tv with freeview, en suite facilities and my double bed, as requested in my reservation. I was advised on the best places to eat and drink nearby and offered use of the WiFi facilities to finish off my work. The room also had tea, coffee and biscuits & i was asked to fill out a menu sheet where chose my cooked breakfast options for the morning which was ready at the time i requested and was fresh, hot and very tasty.
On my second morning i asked if i could have an early breakfast saying that i diddn't mind having cereal as it was so early but was told that this was no problem and that someone would be up to provide me with anything that i wanted.
Overall i had a wonderfull stay here and i will be contacting cragganmore guesthose the next time i visit aberdeen and not the overpriced hotels that i normally use.

“Cragganmore - Great B & B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 July 2010

We went to Aberdeen for my daughter's Graduation and stayed here, we were made very welcome by the hosts Elizabeth and Alister and the room we had was a twin and downstairs, it was lovely and very comfortable with en-suite shower room and tea/coffee making facilities and some biscuits. There was a hairdryer supplied and a flat screen TV. Wi-fi is available for a small daily charge. The decor was very homely and had a great nights sleep on the very comfortable beds. The price was very reasonable. We got taxis to the places we were going to as we are not very mobile, it is advisable to book them in advance but they turn up exactly on time. However, it is only a short walk to Union Street which is the main shopping street and to the Union Shopping Centre near the station/coach station. There is also a lovely park with benches across the road which is a great place to chill out and relax.

The breakfast was freshly cooked to order, you fill in a form the night before with your exact requirements, they were always delicious. There was also plenty of cereal/fruit/yogurts/fruit juice to choose from.

There are lots of restaurants and takeaways nearby and you can utilise the breakfast room if you have a takeaway which is handy if you don't feel like going out for a meal.

We stayed for 8 days and were made to feel as though we were at home. I would definitely recommend this B & B.
