lovely location, great views over the river. Comfy room , spacious bathroom with big bath and fab shower, bedroom with doors into garden (my dog would have loved it!) Bar meal very good value and tasty. Breakfast fine, typical buffet style but as much as you wanted. Fabulous lounge with comfy sofas and amazing log fire. We will stay again if in Aberdeen area.

Lovely location with a beautiful view from out room of the gardens and the river, not a place if your looking for night life!. Room was compact but very comfortable, (reduced rate due to company function and that was an added bonus) making the value worth it. Food was good, however breakfast was the only down side. Soggy eggs, undercooked bacon and shrivelled up sausages were not what we expected at all? Have stayed in the past and shall stay again in the future.

I stayed here for 4 nights in the recent very cold spell. I found the rooms very comfortable,clean and roomy. The breakfast was very good and the service excellent.
The bar area let it down a liitle.It needs a make-over.

We've stayed for two nights in this lovely country house hotel full of caracter and the time spend here was a real plesure. Beautyfull setting as the hotel it's set on the bank's of river Dee. Amazing lounge with a huge fire place. Room was quite confortable with quality lines and bedding. I founded staff helpfull and very plesant. Food was great as we tried both bar and the fine dinning restaurant were we had an incredibile experience. The meal was fantastic and service outstanding quite price I would say but well spend money for the value . Breakfast was good too, nice welcome and nothing was too much trouble to ask for. We are looking forward to come back . I would deffinetly recomand this hotel.
