Never before have I been glad of having come to the end of a piece of chewing gum so that I could use it to refix the window dressing. The toilet in my room (in the "old" part of the hotel) had nothing covering the window which left me exposed to the building opposite, the road below and the nearby walkway. The blind had fallen off and had to be refixed with aforementioned gum. The sink had no plug. There was a hole in the floor under the carpet. The glass didn't fit the window frame so there was a gaping hole. Despite this, the room was too hot. Very noisy. Cobwebs in the bedside lights. The new flatscreen TV only had 3 channels working. The lift stank. The food was ok for deep fried fodder. The decor was stressful throughout. A cheerful sign as you enter informs you that the proprietors reserve the right to search you for drugs at any time. What a godforsaken place. NEVER AGAIN.
