“Jewel in a Gray Aberdeen Crown”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 February 2012

Aberdeen in winter can be a very dull and dark place.

Step inside the Craibstone Suites and you will see the light. The unique and original atrwork hung in the public areas tell you that this is not a run of the mill hotel or apartment.
The decor and carpets also shout "Quality" and this is before you even put a key in the door to enter your apartment.

This place also smells fresh and clean, which again is very important to most.

The partments themselves are finished to a very high standard and deserve to use the word "Executive", many use this term loosely and should be taken out ans shot.

You will experience a very quiet night, i have never had a disturbed sleep when staying here and i travel a fair bit.

The apartments are a good size with a built in kitchen area.

The staff at reception are also very helpful and well presented.

All in all an excellent place to stay.

“Top quality accommodation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2012

Booked my room on the very same day as my stay and got a really good price for the standard of accommodation. Man at reception was very friendly and helpful and ensured check-in was quick. The suite itself was very clean and tidy. I liked the fact it was like a one bedroom flat, giving it a different feel to your usual one room + bathroom hotel accommodation. It is situated very close to the town centre, but also in a quiet area. All this contributed to my wife and I having a really good overnight stay in Aberdeen. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the Craibstone Suites to anybody.

“Lovely Place to Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 December 2011

We stayed here for two nights in September (thought I had already did review and I hadn't). Room was lovely and clean and looked out onto the square.

We parked our car in the nearby multi storey car park and left it there from Friday night until Saturday evening when we could park for free in the square, right outside the suites, until 10 o'clock on the Sunday morning when we paid for the last hour or so.

The suites are very handy for the shops and we also had a lovely walk down to the beach on the Saturday when after a very wet Friday the sun came out and the rain stayed away until Sunday when it was back with a vengeance.

Both nights we stayed we took a carry out meal back to our room as we were tired after driving and then shopping/walking to the beach. It was great to be able to have a meal with ample dishes and cutlery and then be able to clean up (although you don't have to wash up this is something that will be done for you).

There was a continental style breakfast left in the rooms for us and this was replenished daily.

The rooms were lovely and clean and the bathroom spacious and there was also a good range of toiletries and a giant sized bath.

Will be returning here soon for our next shopping trip.

“Excellent Stay”

I have just returned from the Craibstone Suites after a 6 night stay. I was very impressed at the standard of accommodation. We had a grand executive suite for three and breakfast was provided in the room every day. The room was very clean with all the amenities you would need. The parking was not included but was not an issue as we parked in Bon Accord Crescent which was cheaper than outside the suites. We ate most nights in Union Square which had the usual selection of restaurants. I have no negatives with regards to the suites. The only negative I have is for Aberdeen (I wish the seagulls would sleep at night!!!!!)

“Fantastic serviced apartments!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 July 2011

I booked the Craibstone Suites for 2 nights this weekend past as my girlfriend and I fancied getting away from Glasgow for the weekend.

From the moment you step in the place you can tell it's a very plush, and well kept establishment. The receptionist was very friendly and had us checked in within 5 mins. We were given directions to a carpark as the on street parking is very expensive.

I had booked a Superior Executive Suite and asked for one with a verandah/balcony if available and we were not dissapointed. The suite itself was really lovely, very modern with lovely decor, stunning bathroom with a huge bath/shower ( plenty big for two ;o) ), even more stunning bedroom with a lovely king size bed and a large living room/kitchen area. The balcony bit is huge and ideal as im a smoker.
It's really just like a lovely, plush, small flat, so much better than some generic hotel room and the price was unbelieveable!! Brekkie was in the room for the 2 days already. No noise from anywhere and we were directly above the social club mentioned in other reviews... there was a bit of music you could hear with the balcony soor fully open till about midnight on saturday but nothing that would stop you relaxing or sleeping!!

The suites are situated right band in the middle of the city centre and it took us only 4-5 mins to get to a large selection of bars, shops and eateries.

I can honestly say this is the best place I have stayed for a weekend break, really lovely, very friendly receptionist and amazing price and I cant wait to go back!

Room Tip: Ask for the suite with a balcony, I was in 105
