“Joy and Noel...a JOY!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 September 2011

We arrived at the Dervaghroy and were welcomed by Joy, our lovely host. She gave us one of the rooms in the cottage with it's own sitting room which set it apart from the rest. We settled in and at 9pm Joy brought us some beautiful freshly cooked pancakes and cream. Our breakfast the following morining was the best we had in our tour of Ireland. With Joy and Noel we have found not only a lovely place to stay but also new friends. I only wish we could give 6 stars!

“One of the highlights of our family trip!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 August 2011

My husband and two children (ages 8 and 11) stayed here for one night after we visited the Ulster American Folk Park. Joy and Noel took such good care of us! Joy brought us desserts when we arrived and they kept coming! Our children were in heaven. The breakfast the next day was fantastic. We felt like we were visiting family instead of staying in a hotel. The guesthouse was spacious and the grounds are beautiful. It was located very close to the Ulster American Folk Park which is a must to visit!!!! I highly recommend the Dervaghroy House and wished we could have stayed longer...next time we will!

“Service above and beyond the call of duty”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 February 2011

We had to attend a wedding on friday and had to come to the wedding from spending a week in donegal when we would have the dog in tow, so we were desperate for somewhere that could accomadate the dog. We found in Joy a gem, nothing was to much trouble in all the planning up to the holiday in accomadating the dog, our early arrival to get ready for the wedding, accomadating all our extended family between the cottage and the B and B, her lovely food and ultimately her kind care of our dog. If you are a dog person you can appreciate what it means to have your dog happy, he is a pound pooch so I did not really want to put him in kennels and this turned out to be the best alternative he had the best time. Add to this the lovelyness of her accomadation, the cleanliness, the comfort of the beds and the general home from home feeling. Highly recommended and I will be calling on her services again.

“Perfect B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 November 2010

This is a real find- deep in the County Tyrone countryside, a beautiful old house and garden. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, breakfast was lovely and beautifully presented, and the owners gave us one of the warmest welcomes I have ever experienced. They went the extra mile to make sure that our stay was enjoyable- we will be going back!

“4 star cottage with the "home from home" feeling!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 August 2010

We've just spent 4 peaceful nights at this lovely modern cottage with our elderly parents! We were welcomed by Joy and Noel who made us feel at home with a cup of tea and plenty home made cakes - delicious! They provided us with a "welcome pack" of tea, bread, butter, jam, milk etc and another lovely cake!! The cottage had everything we needed including 2 lovely bedrooms with kingsize beds in each, so no arguing over who gets the best room, they can provide further beds if required. There were TVs in both bedrooms as well as in the lounge and kitchen! The cottage had a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. The kitchen housed a full cooker, fridge, dining area etc. The cottage is in a lovely peaceful location ! As we have family in Omagh, we will definitely stay here again. Marian and Mike
