Thought I would be staying at a pub hotel by the name.
This hotel does itself proud.
I arrived at 2135hrs and they still prepared me a meal from the restaurant - which was a homemade curry and delicious. The room and the whole of the hotel were spotless.
Slept like a log.
I was to have a meeting the next day and so I had time to have " the best" full English breakfast ever! The bacon was to die for and the fried bread melted in your mouth - I have stayed in some amazing hotels - but this breakfast beat the lot.
I the had the use of conference rooms - which had fresh coffee brewing - magazines all business services - to be honest it was like an airport business lounge - the staff couldn't do enough. A lovely twenty four hours in a lovely popular local hotel. I will be back.
