“Babies are charged for breakfast!”

I rang Clanabogan House last week to check availability and prices for myself, my husband, our four year old and one year old and was quite shocked when they told me my one year old would be free as he would share our double bed therefore they wouldnt charge him however they would charge our one year old seperately for whatever he ate for breakfast! I just cant believe that! Needless to say, we stayed somewhere else where our one year old wasnt charged for his cereal!

“Beautiful place, we'll be back”

My partner and I visited in June 2011, what a nice surprise. A beautiful setting, warm and welcoming hosts, a breakfast that could beat any other and a very comfortable room. A delight from arrival to departure. The woodland walk is lovely and we saw badgers there on our first night. Clanabogan is perfect for a romantic getaway.

“What a gem, we'll definately be back!”

We booked to stay here for two nights at very short notice due to a death in the family; the owners were very helpful, giving us a clear explanation of the surrounding area and directions from the airport etc. We arrived a lot later then we advised when booking, again they were very obliging and due to the circumstances we just collected keys and came back in our own time. Breakfast was wonderful with a great selection of hot, cold and healthy options available. We were also given the option of choosing a different breakfast time if it wasn't suitable. The room was clean and tidy with everything we needed, we had an en suite bathroom that was almost as big as the bedroom and included a beautiful antique freestanding bath! I forgot shampoo and a brush and the owners didn't think twice about helping me with these items out of their own home. Overall this is a beautiful, old country house, great value for money and well situated for access to County Tyrone and Fermanagh. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay perfect and we would highly recommend it - we will definitely be back, thank you for your hospitality!

“A great place to stay”

A very relaxing place to stay. The buildings are very charming despite the fact that they need some work. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, the breakfast menu offers many options. The location is ideal for visiting many sites in Northern Ireland. Above all, the hosts are wonderful!

“pleasant stay in a beautful setting”

There was a magnificent garden walk through bluebells and overhanging yew trees. The host, Mary, was delightful, answering all our questions and helping us with directions. The breakfast was excellent and Mary waited in us very well. The stay is not in town so you need a car.The home was a old fashioned mansion so don't expect a modern house.
Overall a most enjoyable stay.
