I was in charge of booking hotel rooms for 6 people in Derry for a friend's wedding...and got completely lucky with the Sunbeam. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The bathroom, while not attached to our room, was on the same floor and solely for our use...also very clean. (There was a sink in the room.) The single room I booked for one friend was adorable and had a bathroom in it. The price was affordable, and the breakfast in the morning was delicious (and huge). The owner (Siobhan I think) was really lovely to us, and made our stay wonderful. I highly recommend this place (plus, it is close to downtown)...my friends thought I was great to have booked us in here.

We have just returned from a week at Sunbeam House. The accomodation is 1st class and the personal attention from Siobhan, John and Frances was superb. They know all their guests by first names, and address them as such whenever they meet. Even an active, noisy 2 years old did not upset them. We will certainly be back to this B&B.
