We chose this B&B based on many reviews we've read here and we were very disappointed. We had booked a room at Serendipity House B&B, but were told that it was full so we were moved just up the road in Angel House B&B.
The room was small, the bathroom tiny and the whole smelt of cold cigarette - so much that we couldn't go to sleep. Not great when you're pregnant and can't stand the smell of tobacco. It was also dusty and quite noisy.
Breakfast was poor. An old pack of cereals, cheap cheese and ham and some toasts. They also do an Irish breakfast but we did not try it.
Staff was not very friendly, always smoking (preferably just under our room's window). The cook also emitted a massive burp while cooking breakfast, which all guests in the breakfast room had the pleasure to hear.
In a word, poor quality, poor service. Don't go there! It's not worth £30 a night/person.

Great room, lovely full irish breakfast and owner Paul very hospitable and helpful. Freshly made scones were a bonus. Excellent value for money. Mike and Heather, New Zealand.

My partner and I stayed here for a short break and were treated like family friends. Everything was great - lovely room, really nice welcome and the breakfast was superb (the landlord. Paul, keeps hens and the eggs were out of this world). I'd thoroughly recommend the Angel House: reasonable prices and absolutely fab customer service.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Angel House. Great hospitality, delicious food, and lovely room with a view! Nothing better than good conversation with the hosts (who provided lots of knowledge of the local area), fresh scones each afternoon and a delightful night's sleep while looking out over the lights of Derry.

The walk into town was an easy one, and there was a very nice playground very close by! That was a special treat for my four-year-old son.

The room also offered free wi-fi. If we had not had our ipad, there was also a computer station just outside our bedroom door.

We really enjoyed our stay!
