“Excellent, Friendly and reasonable priced.”

We had to go to Downpatrick for a funeral last minute thing so the night befor i checked the internet and booked here. I was a bit apprehensive as the pictures were not the greatest, but when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were fab, they were spacious and very clean. The bathroom is totally differnet to the pictures on the website having been modernised to a very high standard. There were tea coffee making facilities, Iron Board and an Iron, trouser press and a television. We found it to be more like a hotel than a b&b. The brekfast was lovely with breakfast being served at a time of your choice. We have a full ulster breakfast. So i would recommend this place and i will be returning in the near future with the extended family.

“Nice enough B&B”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 October 2008

Stayed for one night when travelling in Northern Ireland.
The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the staff very friendly and welcoming. The price was very reasonable, the only negative being the breakfast, which was a little disapointing.

“Excellent!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 September 2007

The website does this B&B no justice - the photos must have been of a long time ago! The rooms were gorgeous - really big and beautifully decorated, nice and modern. It was spotless and welcoming. It was like a mini-hotel with personality rather than a B&B and the owner was friendly and charming. We had booked single rooms and were put in a great family room! Definitely worth staying here if your are in Downpatrick!

on a driving trip round Ireland we were advised that it was a nice place to stay. What an understatement ! Rathdune is is little piece of heaven. We usually stay in minimum 4 star hotels but Rathdune put them all to shame. EVERYTHING, the decor, the comfort of the rooms, the friendly helpfull staff, the food ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING was FIRST CLASS. For once we have found a place to stay that we could not find even the tiniest fault with.
