We stayed at Ni Eoghain Lodge which had a great Garden and the hosts were kind friendly people. They made us tea and cakes when we arrived and allowed us to bring in fish and chips for supper. However our room was very small and had no drawers or wardrobe except for a cupboard in the bathroom where anything hung in it got damp. The lighting in the room was very poor and even with the centre light and two side lamps there was insufficient light to read by. The shower over the bath could not be used due to the fact that the hot water was so hot that by the time sufficient cold had been mixed in, there was insufficient pressure to maintain a flow of water. The room was cold even though there was a radiator but this was hidden by one of the beds. There was no hospitality tray although advertised as such and no TV. There was however a lounge with a TV and a roaring log fire. The property was not very easy to find especially in the dark and there was no lighting from the car park to the house. Not a good idea when you are 76 and have osteoporosis. And last but not least, the place didn't look anything like the photo on the website.
