This is a lovely place to stay in Belfast, with lovely people running it.
Very pleasant accommodation, room great, all facilities worked well but it's the little things which I appreciated and here's a few:
Enquired about early arrival to leave luggage so I could wander off into town unencumbered. Olive could not have been more helpful and even offered a pot of tea and some home made xmas cake (both delicious) when I arrived.
Public transport and tourist info excellent but a little extra info on something I mentioned an interest in was found online (unasked) before I headed out, which was sheer friendliness and hospitality.
The room's welcome tray and toiletries were a cut above what you find in many places. These, alongside a quality TV - with all channels working - and a proper Roberts radio at the bedside, made it a most comfortable experience.
Returning that evening I found a warm welcome lamp lit, the curtains drawn and the bedlinen turned down - nice touch!
Breakfast options were excellent, my choice perfectly cooked and wheaten bread delicious (wish I'd asked Roger if it was home made and where the marmalade came from!)
Anybody who seeks a place where a little more thought, care, individuality and quality is put in - and is happy to pay just a little more for that - should stay at Ravenhill. It's worth it.
