I have had the experience of both a guest and as a person who asked the Stormont to hold an event for my organisation. Both were pleasureable and excellent experiences. Firstly, the event had many small touches and such immaculate and efficienct service quality that I felt as though I was a spare arm which is often very much not the case when I arrange events in certain venues and then attend them. Nothing was too much trouble, and the food and catering for a mass group was executed with such personal service I was very impressed.
As a guest, the rooms were gorgeous, the beds, extremely comfortable and the breakfasts excellent. The food was cooked to an excellent standard, and the primary thing of all - we had an excellent sleep, and woke up refreshed. It is an excellent business hotel particularly for the business man or visitor to Parliament.

We also ate in the scala bistro, very pleasant food although some staff lacked training, decor not to my taste

Wifi was a let down since our bt open zone voucher didn't allow us access and we were referred to call their very expensive help line, with no luck

All in , a pleasant experience in a good location out of the city centre

I took my friend for afternoon tea last week this was a first for both of us we were completely blown away with the great staff the perfect fire and the mountains of food (proper meaty prawn sandwiches was a bonus). I will def be back for more...Matthew that served us was so helpful and polite and offered us boxes to take some food home incase we left any :) we both left with our bellies full and big smiles on our faces....YUM!!!

I came here for dinner with my family after holding a reception at the hotel earlier that day. The staff were absolutely brilliant and ensured we were being looked after at all points throughout the afternoon and evening. The restaurant is a great place to dine with a brilliant selection of well presented and varied dishes. I'd definately recommend this restaurant and hotel to anyone for either a night dining out or as a place to hold a reception/ event.
