We enjoyed a very comfortable stay at the Christmas Pie. A warm reception was well received. But it was the attention to detail that stood out. Everything had been thought through proving that Val and Trevor really value their customers. Great breakfast with specific dietry requirements catered for without question. Our room had the cleanest bathroom i've ever seen in a B&B.

Valerie and Trevor offer a very warm welcome to Swansea. The breakfast menu is one of the most extensive that I've ever seen for a B&B. At least five homemade jams, including lemon curd, which was our favourite. Trevor is also willing to make you anything not on the menu as well. We mentioned seeing Welsh cakes in a bakery, and that evening, a plate of them was waiting for us in our room!

There's a free internet connection in the room and a cozy living room with lots of books to browse.

We stayed in the Arts and Crafts room, which is spacious, with a huge bay window, and well appointed. There's a huge tea selection, homemade biscuits (or cookies), bottled water, chocolate and fresh fruits. Valerie provided us with lots of maps, bus time tables, directions, and suggestions for restaurants and day trips. They have an obvious love for their work, and we'd return without hesitation.

After an extremely long haul from Australia it was a pleasure to arrive at such a comfortable B & B. Val and Trevor are the perfect hosts and Christmas Pie set the standard for our trip. We were only in Swansea for two nights but this felt like home and really is what you would expect of a great B & B.

The breakfasts can only be described as magnificent, not your average fare of bangers, bacon and eggs. To say the portions were generous would be an understatement and the quality and variety of breakfast was unsurpassed by any of the B & B's that we subsequently stayed in. Trevor has a passion for cooking and it truly shows. No lunch was needed after such a huge breakfast.

The room was clean, comfortable and relatively quiet given that it was Guy Fawkes night.

There is a good selection of eateries within walking distance and Val was extremely helpful in pointing us in the right direction with excellent recommendations on where to eat.

We were using Swansea as a base to visit relatives and we are sorry that we could not stay longer. Val and Trevor provided a family feel that let us wind down a bit after our eventful flight.

We would highly recommend Christmas Pie B & B and will stay here again if ever we have the chance to travel to Swansea again

The hosts, Val and Trevor, are a lovely couple – polite, helpful and attentive without being in any way obtrusive.

The rooms are beautifully furnished along with a lovely modern en-suite bathroom with an excellent power shower. Freeview TV is available and also a cable internet connection, and there is a wide selection of teas available in the room along with coffee, a fruit bowl, homemade biscuits, and bottled water. More than adequate wardrobe space and a little writing desk, this is very useful for a laptop.

Breakfast is outstanding with a choice of menus, the usual staples, fruit, toast, cereals, yoghurt etc. are freely available along with a full English breakfast, and also a selection of dishes from Wales, India, Asia, and America. Vegetarians are happily catered for.
