We booked 6 rooms during January for 3 nights and each one of them was freezing cold (we left early due to the poor experience). There is a thermometer in the room, which at its peak was 18 degrees celsius, much of the time at 14 degrees. The heater was a small old smelly thing not big enough for the room. The reception area, restaurant, hallways were all freezing cold. 4 of us caught a cold during our time here. Its the first time Iv left a bottle of water in a hotel room and come back to find it colder that when I bought it.

Was Lenny Henry's room like this? I doubt it, although the bed may have been the same one he jumps on in the ad, as you literally sink into the one I had... £69 per night this room! 3 nights and the bath wasnt cleaned ONCE.

The food was all microwaved and pretty drab (the bacon like rubber, pastry soggy, etc). Staff were actually quite friendly.

My first and last experience at a Premier Inn, where - Everything is low.... but the price.

Stayed for one night between Christmas and the New Year. Good location in the city centre and easy to reach by car from the motorway. It would be good if hotel could negotiate preferential rates at the car park as the Travelodge which is further away seems to have preferential rates.

Staff in all areas were very pleasant - friendly and helpful. The receptionist even remembered which room we were in when we went to check out the following day without me saying.

Room was large and good standard. Bathroom was a bit small but adequate. Both room and bathroom were very clean and in good condition. I asked for a quiet location and this is what we got - back of the hotel and well away from the lifts. There was no noise whatsoever.

Breakfast was very good. Constantly replenished and lots of choice.

If I needed to stay in Swansea city centre again I would definitely stay here and have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

We were staying in Swansea for a bit of a romantic evening. I have stayed here before and have always found the staff very accommodating, the hotel is always comfortable, clean and tidy. I will stay here again and always enjoy, but if your not planning on going out dancing and partying you may find the other guests can come back to the hotel rather worst for wear and very noisy, as this is stated on the website beforehand it should come as no surprise what with it being in the centre of all the pubs and clubs. It is excellent for girly weekends and party nights out and maybe not for the romantic nights with a loved one. But I would always recommend it
