Situated to the west of Swansea city centre in a great position for touring The Mumbles and the Gower. Very friendly and helpful owner. Good sized room. Spotlessly clean. Great breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

Very friendly host, clean and tidy. Great room, great breakfast. Difficult to fault!

Stayed at the Alexander with my husband and two teenage children for a night, in two rooms on the top floor. Great welcome from the owner who showed us to the rooms on the top floor, a steep climb but worth it. One room had a walk in shower in the en suite and the other a bath. Both rooms had a double and a single bed and were very comfortable. Lots of little touches like plenty of towels, chocolate on the pillow, cotton wool and buds on the dressing table and a good supply of toiletries in the bathroom.
Breakfast was very good, a big selection of items cooked and cold to choose from.
The location is also excellent, near to some local shops which include a tesco and sainsbury local, handy for anything you forgot, and a short taxi ride (or walk for the energetic) into town for places to eat.
A good stay, and would definately use the Alexander again.

I stayed in this lovely hotel on my holiday to south wales and this great hotel was a lucky find well situated in the best part of swansea near great shops and restaurants. Heino and Lynn the owners gave me a wonderful welcome, the house is elegant and the rooms all you could ever want.When you stay in Hotels like this you wonder why did i ever stay in big unfriendly chains. I love swansea I will be back
