Stayed here for two nights with work and this was my third visit.

The staff are very friendly and will help you in anyway they can. They don't come across as too "corporate'.

The food is good for chain hotel and the breakfast, despite being a buffet is excellent (plus they cook the eggs whatever way you want them to order).

Rooms are nice and spacious, clean etc.

This hotel is literally on the beautiful beach and you can walk all the way to mumbles from here.

I will definately stay here for future Swansea trips.

It would be hard to find friendlier or more helpful staff than this hotel. The staff is their biggest asset that plus it is by the beach front which is lovely. The hotel itself is very clean and the rooms were nice, however it is dated and tired looking. There is no mini bar in the room and the shower was slow and temperamental. The restaurant was closed, due to not having enough bookings. That said the person on reception did recommend a wonderful place for us to eat. The bar is small and did not serve cocktails (something I like). We had a light lunch before leaving and was disappointed to find they do not sell any cakes or pastries. Walk outside the hotel and within a few steps you are on a wonderful beach. The staff were very friendly and lovely to talk to and helpful in every way. I don’t think there are many top hotels in Swansea so maybe Marriott don’t feel they have to try hard with the décor?

Stayed here for one night on business. The room was clean and quiet although the air conditioning was noisy which meant I needed an extra blanket as I had to turn it off during the night. The request was delivered very promptly and courteously. I ordered room service which again was delivered on time and the quality of the food was pleasantly surprising. Had an unexpected view of the bay which was nice and the hotel has a good location near the Marina. The service was very helpful and polite and I would certainly recommend, even if not a wow experience.

We stayed here for one night so we could watch a show at the Swansea Grand Theatre, which was a very handy ten minutes walk away, along one road. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. we stayed in room 211, which had a sea view. It was clean and nicely decorated. There was plenty of parking, and although it is pay and display, it is free for guests. The breakfast was very good, with a fair choice.
