Our first visit to a Holiday Inn Express, but won't be the last. From the welcome at Reception (even though we arrived later than planned), to the comfortable room, and enjoyable breakfast, we had a great stay.

Stayed for 1 night should have stayed for 2. Room wasy very clean and comfortable. Nice Bar Area. The breakfast was more than expected for a conntinental breakfast with hot Sausages and Scrambled eggs. Excellent value for money and will book again.

The Holiday Inn Express in Newport has all the usual features you would expect from a very good hotel, with one major bonus: the best customer service I have ever experienced. We weren't the ideal guests, arriving at four in the morning and leaving at a similar time a few days later, but all staff members were extremely professional and helpful. We were offered coffee or hot chocolate when we arrived, and we were offered breakfast as we left. This is exceptionally rare, and it was very much appreciated. That's just one example of how flexible and caring the personnel were; they gave the same high level of service in every aspect of their work. It was a real pleasure to stay in this hotel because of the staff.

I stayed one night with my teenage daughter on the way to Cardiff. The hotel was in an excellent location just off the M4. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and there was plenty of pillows. Breakfast was included which is always a nice touch. Room was well sound proofed as we couldn't hear any noise from the adjoining rooms.
