No. 62 combines ingredients for visitors, well located, friendly hosts,& good nearby restaurants/ pub.

Number 62 is a lovely old house - lovingly restored. Alan and Liz are friendly and helpful.
It's not really a B&B as you don't have breakfast on the premises but the accommodation is great. If you're sensitive to road noise though I'd suggest you get Alan to book you in a back room.

I stayed here with 2 friends for the Ryder Cup. Unlike many other hotels the prices for the period were very reasonable especially for the location in a pleasant area so close to the city centre. We had a twin room and a single, both of which were comfortable and well furnished with good bathrooms. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Cardiff e.g. for Rugby, Cricket or concerts.

We have been traveling in the UK for a month. No. 62 is one of the best places we've stayed. The rooms are very lovely and well appointed. They are large and more in line with what you would expect from a decent hotel in the US. It is well located, a short walk to the Castle and the City Centre. When we return to Cardiff, we will definitely stay there again. The owners are both pleasant and helpful.
