“Very basic & overpriced”

The room we got smelled and was so tiny it could only fit the bed in it, which would be ok for a night if it didn't cost 60 pounds for the privilege! The staff were nice people however the noise levels whilst trying to sleep from the other patrons (walls are made of cardboard) and the shared bathroom with minimal facilities made this a very below average experience.

Mt wife & I were booked into another b&b which let us down. As it was the night of the British Speedway GP everywhere was booked solid.
Despite being full, the landlord of the Millers cleared a room that was being used to store furniture so that we had somewhere to sleep the night. Something no other b&b or even expensive hotel was prepared to do.
Clean sheets; on a wet night it was paradise - far better than our other option of the railway station! Needless to say we booked for the rest of our stay in Cardiff.
The place may be a bit run down, but the landlord & his wife have hearts of gold and and really put themselves out to help us.
Ignore the decor, enjoy the company and the excellent food.
