Easy to find, good parking in NCP opposite, great location, hand for train and rugby, great room service food. Fab spa. Spacious room with nice toiletries. Wish I could have spent all day in my room instead of in meetings. Great Front of House Staff. Front of House staff make SUCH a difference, especially when they are local and well informed of what to do and where to go

stayed for one night to visit friends in Cardiff. We have stayed at the hotel about five times and it had become our hotel of choice in Cardiff. Booked a suite as no junior suites available. Could not see much difference to reflect price however, perhaps a bit bigger. Check in friendly and swift. On first sight room looked fine with a double sofa bed for our 11 year old which was a nice chance to the usual single. Air conditioning did not work and it was quite stuffy (would probably explain why the window was open on our arrivel). Room on the back of the hotel so nice and quiet at night. Next morning awful smell of drains in the bathroom and huge cobwebs in the shower. The shower was however, fantastic. Breakfast was of a high standard with excellent service. Parking £12 special rate for the hotel which is not bad for a city centre. Check out in the morning swift and efficient and my reservations were noted in a pleasant way. I would return to the Park Plaza as it is in a great location however, i would look around to see if i could get a better deal too.

Lovely hotel with a great complimentary spa offering. Just off the main road but very accessible to all the attractions/shopping in the central area. Great location, very comfortable room with all mod cons. No mini bar fridge available a minus but room serive 24 hours so no issues on that. the restaurant Laguna has a good offering although kept us waiting 20 mins due to 2 large parties ordering. Only one menu was offered after seating and requesting alternatives and I later saw other options being served!!! apparently a bar menu but no word was uttered thereof. Good overall. No parking facilties

Great location, great rooms, great breakfast. What more can I ask? I would definitely come back again and the prices are reasonable given the quality of the hotel. It is situated centrally so it is close to the castles and you have restaurants and bars at your doorstep. No hotel parking but you get a 25% reduction on the daily rate at the NCP carpark opposite.
