I stayed here for one night with my son. The place was easy to find and very close to the motorway. Reception staff were helpful and the room was fine. We ate dinner in the restaurant and this was OK for the price, with friendly and efficient staff. The WiFi is not free (beyond 30 mins) but was cheap (£3 for 24 hours) and fats enough to watch a film with. At about 9pm, a horde of very drunk teenagers began rampaging through the hotel and we began to fear the worst. However, they left for their night out by 10pm and must have returned very quietly (or not all) because we didn't hear them. We had a good night's sleep in the end but had to leave early and so didn't try the breakfast. For the price, this was very good value and we would stay again.

Good value accommodation and whilst obviously not as not as convenient as a city centre hotel this still represents a good choice for visitors to Cardiff. Rooms are slightly more dated than the newer Premier Inns but are still spotlessly clean and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel that runs into Cardiff city centre and a taxi is relatively cheap if you are returning later in the evening.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and welcoming. We found the bed to be comfortable.

The breakfast both mornings was very good and the staff very pleasant. The cooked bacon was perhaps some of the very best that we have had at any hotel we have stayed in. The ordered elements of the breakfast did not take long to prepare and were very good.

The hotel location is close to the very good Park & Ride for Cardiff City.

Would we stay again? Certainly.

One point however, the 30mins per day free WiFi, was it every 24 hours from midnight or from when you first logged on, the staff were not sure when the "day" was due to start for this service.

I have stayed at this Premier Inn about 5 or 6 times but won't any more. The staff and rooms are fine and always clean. however, the food dinner was poor. Also, I needed to find out when breakfast started and no one answered the phone. I tried to call for over an hour. There dinner just is not up to the usual Premier Inn restaurants like the Beefeaters etc.
