Hotel was easy to find as it was on a main road, no parking but was aware of this before and found a 24 hour car park just round for the corner for £5 a day which was good. Greeted by Vanessa as we came in. Our room was 302 on the top floor. First impressions was that it was very clean and what we expected. The bathroom was a little small but the shower was a nice size and was high powered. The towels were only hair towels size so bring your own if you like big towels. I heard alot of critism of the mattress but me and my gf found it to be perfect and both slept like logs. Not alot of wardrobe space but it didnt matter much to us. Location was perfect, right opposite the 'Motorpoint Arena' formerly known as the CIA and also 'St David's Shopping Centre' which has plenty of shops and restaurants and Cinema too. I read alot of reviews before this trip and some people complained about the noise but we didnt occur any.

Overall, we will definitly be coming back to the Ibis hotel when we visit Cardiff again in the future, the prices were excellent and room was great.
