Having read some of the reports on this site I was somewhat worried that I had arranged to meet my family and stay here! So I checked other booking sites - booking.com & late rooms to name but a few - here the reviews gave a totally different picture and I was to say the least confused. However any concerns I may have had vanished upon arrival - here was a beautiful family run hotel where consideration is given to the guests at all levels. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff - from first greeting by the receptionist to the curtious and polite attitude of the Italian and French waiting staff. The Italian owner was utterly charming and delighted in showing us around the hotel and it's beautiful dining room & function rooms. Our room was clean and welcoming. The food absolutely delicous (and plenty of it). Breakfast was Continental style but if you wanted a Full Welsh breakfast - you just had to ask. Yes you paid extra, but you have to in other places too. This hotel is nothing like a travel lodge. The comments made on this site are complete rubbish obviously made by people with nothing better to do but criticise. Manor Parc is a small family run 3 star hotel. If you want impersonal 5 star treatment go to a 5 star hotel. If you want a warm, personal and friendly ambience, you wont go wrong at the Manor Parc. The post code does site them on the Motorway - but a quick call to them and they gave us very concise directions from Jnct 32. We cannot thank them enough for the wonderful two days we spent with them and look forward to returning again later this year. Would thoroughly recommend.
