We have stayed in quite a few B&Bs throughout the UK and this is definitely the best so far! You get real value for money and then some. There were 5 of us, staying in 2 rooms. One was a large double room with a truckle bed added for the extra person.

Both rooms were decorated to a very high standard and had all the bells and whistles (TV and DVD player with DVDs available to borrow, wireless internet, tea, coffee and biscuits, bathrobes).

Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order (including some fussy orders) every morning. Along with the cooked breakfast, there is fresh fruit and fruit juice, yoghurt (flavoured and plain, all organic), cereals and (of course) Welsh cakes.

All this is just a short drive from the lovely beach at Ogmore-by-Sea and (as another reviewer has noted) the "Pelican in her Piety", an excellent pub on the way to the beach (which has a good restaurant as well as being a pub). For any shoppers there is a decent outlet mall in Bridgend. Also, the B&B hosts are very happy to discuss sight-seeing options.

An few extra bonuses - because we stayed for more than 3 nights we got a 10% discount on what were already very decent rates. And, because it was Easter, we had a little bowl of Easter eggs in our rooms on Easter Sunday!
