We stayed at the Afon view in December for 3 nights, taking advantage of their 3 nights for the price of 2 deal. Luckily for us they were decorating the room we had booked and upgraded us to one of their best rooms...nice.
Nice non greasy breakfast served on warm plates, hot food on cold plates is a pet hate of mine.
The Afon view sits in a very accessible part of the village with easy walking to pubs and restaurants.
Would we stay again? ......Yes.

I visited the Afon View Guest House much earlier this year and have only now remembered to write this review.

I stayed for 3 perfect nights using the Afon View as a base to explore the area. I checked in with no hassle and was shown to my room which was nicely decorated and extremely comfortable with all mod cons you would expect. I forget the names of the owners however nothing was too much trouble and I was made to feel very welcome as a solo traveller. The breakfast every day was beautifully cooked and the dining room was a lovely place to eat every morning.

I had a mountain bike with me and was offered secure storage if needed overnight. The free wifi offered works well and quickly and the whole atmosphere is more of a home than a guest house

I wouldn't hesitate to stay again if I ever do go back to Betws Y Coed, highly recommended.

We were greeted by the hosts Mike & Barbara, who were both charming and welcoming. Our first impression was what a beautifully cherished and maintained venue this was and the exceptional standard continued through out. Our room was spotless with all the facilities you could wish for. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again and would happily recommend Afon View to anyone who is wishing to stay in Betws-y-coed. 5* Stars

We stayed here as a birthday treat for my husband and booked last minute on laterooms.
We arrived expecting a rather nice b&b and were delivered with a B&B of hotel standards. Just beautiful! We had a four poster room with a view of greenery, an open fire and a stunning little double shower room. Everything was definitely a considered choice in regards to furnishings and final touches and really was classy without being too formal.
Downstairs boasted a lovely dining room for breakfast (which was perfect) and a lounge for guests with lovely views and a big open fire where we were invited to relax with wine before or after our night out.
Its also based right in the centre of beautiful betws-y-coed.

The hosts were fab; really friendly and helpful.
We would really recommend this for a romantic break away. Superb!
