Having read lots of reviews, we decided to book a 2 night break here. We were met by Tim, a very friendly man and after a brief chat Tim showed us to our room. We stayed in the Robinson room which indeed was lovely.
We decided to walk into Betws-Y-Coed on the first evening as alot of reviews said it was a nice walk down a lane....totally wrong this is not a lane but a fairly busy road! Such a shame there is no pathway as it is pretty! So we got a taxi back and also booked a taxi for the following evening....just a tip: make sure you pre book taxi as they get very busy.
We booked a table at the Ty Gwn and the food was excellent..would reccomend.
Breakfast was nice at Afon Gwyn, however I was slightly unimpressed with the continental choice, as there was not alot to choose from at all, just cereal, yoghurt and fruit juice, was justexpecting a little more. However the cooked breakfast was good.
We would reccomend this guest house to our friends and would probably stay again ourselves.
