this is a lovely little hotel, in a central location, no flashy frills, but a warm welcome, very good value for money, & fantastic views from the elavated posistion of the hotel, comfortable & clean rooms, ample breakfast, to start your day. this was our 2nd stay here & will book again, good for couples & families of all ages, & singles. only 10 minutes walk from railway station.

Excellent clean guest house. Very homely and welcoming. Central in Betws- y-coed just behind the church. A very friendly layed back staff that adore children. We had a lovely time.

“Nice and clean”

This B&B is nice and clean, the standard is what you would expect for a 3* rating. The full English breakfast was a generous portion..ideal before a long days hiking. The location of the B&B is ideal for exploring Snowdonia.

“Very clean & tidy; FANTASTIC service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 October 2005

This was my second stay at the Church Hill having been pleasantly impressed with the first one, the place being very clean & tidy and freshly decorated. En-suite shower was standard size... so a bit small. Full-scale English breakfast was filling and tasty; kipper the second day was excellent. Owners and staff were very friendly and helpful - little was I to guess how helpful.
When worried about a 2500ft descent from Pen yr Ole Wen over the crags (unmarked on the map) virtually in darkness they offered very helpful local advice and moral support over the phone. With verbal help from them and from the Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Service, self & companion arrived back at the Church Hill at 2:30a.m. with the owners still up and poised to heat soup and replenish coffees and a table-full of fresh sandwiches.
Please don't subject them or yourself to the same, but it does show their tremendous helpfulness & dedication.
Rating? Ten blobs if I could give 'em.

“Simply the best”

A fantastic cycling break was made even better by the warm hospitality, excellent food and tremendouse value for money at Church Hill House, great facilities for the tired cyclist (and walker), lots and lots of hot water and very comfortable and well appointed rooms. If a hearty and tasty breakfast is the order of the day then I can recommend the Church Hill to all readers, with second and third helpings for those that want them. We've been to pleanty of places in Betwys and this offers by far and away the best value. Note :- book ahead
